Plenty of pace evident with Pink Lamborghini and Platinum Ridge leading the way from Omnic and Benamera. VIIPURI (4) settled back and did a good job beaten less than 2L over 1100m at Gosford. He's hard-fit and will find this grade more to his liking. The longer sprint will suit and presents on an 8-day return for a top Sydney stable. COMMON GOAL (3) bounced back last start and got the job done as favourite over 1300m at this track/grade. Carries 2kg more but races forward and can play a major role again. Maher-trained OMNIC (1) was beaten less than 2L over a mile at Newcastle prior to the spell and didn't have much luck over 1300m at Goulburn fresh. He's placed 2/3 second-up and his best would be good enough. PINK LAMBORGHINI (6) resumes and is proven fresh. She's trialled well here and has the speed to use the inside barrier. Lightly raced with scope for more improvement. BENAMERA (2) impressed winning a 64 over 1400m at Newcastle two starts back. That would have him right in it, and he draws low. SUGGESTED PLAY: Viipuri appeals most.
