Anticipating good pressure with many of these at the races for the first time. CAPRICORNUS (3) was always forward first-up, missing a whisker this track/trip. Draws to advantage, and the tongue tie is on again. Draws for a soft run and is sure to be improved. LIVELY SPIRIT (7) debuts for the Button yard with Wiggins a key jockey engagement. Brings a comfortable trial win and has the blinkers on, and that signals intent. A bold run is on the cards, EXODAS (1) resumes after a yard switch and has been racing in much tougher company at Eagle Farm. Didn't do a lot four starts back at his only fresh run, but that was at Doomben, and he was good after. The betting will be key. FROSTY'S GOTCHA (8) improved sharply here over 1200m, beaten a half-length. Keeps the 2kg claim and would go close holding that form. SUGGESTED PLAY: Capricornus has the race fitness.
