Mangione can work over from a wide gate to lead. OLYMPIAD (5) turned in a good performance to beat a well-related, short-priced favourite last time, which was only his third run back from a spell. Rises to 2000m here, but has had a jumpout in between and there's no reason he can't go on with it here. Stablemate SO ENCHANTING (11) broke the maiden two back and was then tested in 66 grade last time, which she found beyond her. She's still only early in the prep and, being a daughter of So You Think, the 2000m should be right up her alley. JUNGLE JET (1) virtually played no role last start, but that was first-up in a much stronger race than this, so with the benefit from that and dropping in class he can improve. PIANTA (15) has a terrible winning strike rate - 1 from 30 - but has returned to something like his best the past couple and can feature again. RIPPA BUDDY (10) should appreciate getting back up to 2000m, should be at peak fitness now and draws beautifully. SUGGESTED PLAY: Olympiad to win.
