Expecting Logam to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sharp trip. BOA VISTA (8) ran a nice race on resumption at Geelong, perhaps feeling the pinch late being off a year's spell having shown stakes-level ability early doors. She should come on plenty from that run and take plenty of beating this time around. PLATINO (5) is a gelding by D'argento on debut for the Hickmott yard. He's been looking very good at the jumpouts and always wary of the sharp SA yard bringing one over here, respect any market moves. LOGAM (3) just found one better on debut here over 1000m when well supported and showing early pace. He'll be better for that and draws to effect. Will take catching. THEATRICAL QUEEN (10) resumes having placed in both runs to date, she can be an improver with a spell under the belt. JACK THE JUDGE (2) resumes and is in the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: Boa Vista to win.
