Solid tempo anticipated with Pride Of Jenni leading the way. Fascinating edition of the G1 Empire Rose Stakes. The map is key with PRIDE OF JENNI (1). She couldn't get away from the field in the G1 King Charles III Stakes at Randwick last time and when that occurs, she's next to no chance. Her best is the best in the field and notably, there doesn't look much pressure at all here. FANGIRL (2) also comes through the King Charles. She got too far back there off a solid tempo and peaked on her effort late. Jenni in the race has often been Fangirl's kryptonite because it takes away her electric turn of foot, but if she can sit midfield here she can certainly win. LEICA LUCY (6) is a genuine hope. Two runs back have been outstanding, good from a long way back in the G1 Toorak Handicap last start. She draws much better now and could be the one to pressure Jenni. IDLE FLYER (10) won in very fast time in the G3 Angst. This is harder but she'll be popular off that. Not discounting LAZZURA (7) through the Toorak. She'll be better for that. SUGGESTED PLAY: Pride Of Jenni on top.
