Slick pace with Prince Revolution finding the front but it won't be a picnic with a few other speedy types engaged. LAST SOUVENIR (7) has been patiently handled and was put aside after winning his maiden by nearly a length on his home track at New Plymouth in June. He will be looking to make up for lost time, and he is expected to make a positive start to this season fresh up in this. ZIGGY STARDUST (10) has been running on strongly in each of her runs back from a spell, and will relish getting out to 1400m for the first time this prep. She has the pole position and can figure in the top 3 this time. COMPLEX (2) is knocking on the door with a brace of recent second-place finishes at Trentham to open this campaign. The hoof pads are off, which is a good sign, and he can go one better in this. POUKAWA (8) steadily improved in each of his 3 starts last prep, and will be a lot stronger this season. He had a recent quiet trial at Foxton, and he is a big chance in a race that is wide-open. ROYAL SOVEREIGNS (12) has been close up in both of her starts this prep, and is well worth each-way consideration. SUGGESTED PLAY: Last Souvenir can take this out.
