From a wide gate Eighty Light Years has the speed to cross and lead a low-pressure affair. BRILLIANT EXPRESS (1) won well two back before tiring late in the race most recently. He's been back to the trials since to keep him ticking over and Hugh Bowman hops back in the saddle today. Needs a touch of luck from the draw but can bounce back to his best form. SUPER UNICORN (13) drops back to 1400m today and he has been placed at this track and trip. He was only 2L off the winner over 1650m at Happy Valley most recently and he has shown some early speed in his career. Can make his presence felt. GLORIOUS SUCCESS (10) dipped at the end of his last campaign and has been freshened since that performance. He's had a couple of quiet trials late in the race and back to 1400m seems a smart move. Wouldn't surprise to see him right in the finish. FLYING KNIGHT (8) makes his HK debut today and looked good in a recent trial. Draws ideally and with his upside, he can play a major role.
