Pace strong with Maser Kic and Pyravlos leading with Step nearby. PYRAVLOS (2) was back from a break last start and finished second over this distance at Morioka Dirt, beaten a neck. Has a very good record here including four wins from eight starts. One of the major players. BEYOND BORDERS (10) bounced back last start and got the job done by 3 lengths after being prominent at the corner over 1400m at Morioka Dirt. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot repeat the dose. AYDIN ACE (4) was comfortably accounted for when ninth last time out over 1400m at Morioka Dirt, beaten 19 lengths after being prominent at the corner. That followed a win at Morioka Dirt at the previous outing. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. STARLIGHT TAIL (8) scored a barnstorming win last start over 1200m at Morioka Dirt, coming from the tail to get up by 0.8 lengths. Winning rider Shinobu Murakami stays aboard. One of the better hopes.
