Solid tempo anticipated with Meiner Genius leading the way. HAWK LIGHT (14) has three minor placings from four starts this time in work, the latest as favourite over 2100m at this track. Suited in this and will be tough to beat. ON CLOUD NINE (13) is still a maiden after six runs. Was well in commission last time out but after being in the firing line on the turn didn't live up to market expectations, finishing fourth over 1800m at Nakayama Dirt. Finds a suitable assignment this time and is a great chance to break through. MABU AND FER (5) could only manage ninth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 2100m at this track, beaten 3.5 lengths after being in contention on the bend. Heading the right way and looks sure to run well. TESORINO (12) could only manage to finish fourth, beaten 6 lengths, after being prominent at the turn at his latest appearance over 2100m at this track. Finds the right race and is worth consideration.
