Matsoka and Prinsessa Anja to take it up. MATSOKA (2) was an easy maiden winner here in her penultimate start when making all the running over 1103m and then stepped up to 1200m at Port Hedland last week and faded sharply when headed early in the home straight, finishing third that day. She drops back in trip, and also has the benefit of a 4kg claim, which will make her hard to peg back in this. KIA ORA TATOU (1) ran on stoutly to finish second in his first start for a new trainer here 2 weeks ago. He slides down in class here, and with the aid of a 3kg claim, he will carry a kilo less than last time. He is good enough to go one better. SHE IS GOD (3) has turned a corner with her form since dropping back to this company. She won her maiden by over 4 lengths at Port Hedland in her penultimate start and then was beaten by a short-head there last week. Go again. HOOCHIE GUCCI (5) has yet to show up for a new trainer in 3 starts this prep. He is better than that and is worth one more chance. PRINSESSA ANJA (6) Each way value. SUGGESTED PLAY: Matsoka to win.
