SOUL RUSH (13) last appeared when he edged out the champion Romantic Warrior in the Dubai World Cup on 5 April. Grand veteran with an outstanding record over the mile. Clearly the one to beat. JANTAR MANTAR (10) resumes. Raced once last prep and wasn't himself in the Hong Kong Mile. Defeated Ascoli Piceno in the NHK Mile Cup at Tokyo in April 2024. Big danger if at his best. SIXPENCE (1) is back from a nine-week break. Yet to make his mark at the elite level but has won three from three in Grade Twos, the latest on 2 March in the Nakayama Kinen. Each-way prospect. BREDE WEG (18) is first-up since finishing 3.5 lengths behind Soul Rush in Dubai. One for the exotics. WATER LICHT (14) is very smart but unproven at this level. Minor claims.
