GOING: G(4)

TRAVEL THE WHEATBELT WAY HANDICAP 1600m

Track: GOOD   Clear (Max: 19)   Rail: +8m Entire.

Genuine tempo with the speedy Buckland leading the way. SIR DUSKIN (1) sprinted quickly off a moderate tempo last start and only just missed, beaten 0.9L over 2000m. Now back to the mile where he spotted them too much of a start two back. Catarino's claim comes in handy and if he's within striking distance on the turn, he can get the job done this time. DO IT RIGHT (4) led them up over the mile at Pinjarra last start and was gunned down late, beaten 2.6L. He now draws a much better gate under the in-form Brad Parnham who is striking at 30% from his last 50 rides. Just has to run up to recent performances to get his chance. SNIPPERANDO (6) was far too good over 1900m at Albany last time out when winning by 3L from up on the speed, but was treated for an issue post-race. Back to the mile now may be a little concern, but she's a classy customer who should get her chance. WOZZECK (3) went close at Pinjarra last start in a good race and has claims. CHOICE THINKING (2) can bounce back to form. SUGGESTED PLAY: Sir Duskin can get the job done this time.
