Moderate tempo expected with Bloom Nose likely to find the front over Obsidiana and Max Q. MAX Q (11) finished second last start over 1400m at this track to make it two minor placings from as many runs this prep, both at this course. Sure to prove very tough to beat. GAMBARE BEAR (10) resumed from a spell last start with a sound third over 1400m at this track. Back in better shape this campaign and is sure to play a major role. MISTY MOUNTAIN (9) finished fourth two runs back then improved last start when he worked home well but found a couple better over 1400m at this track, beaten only 0.6 lengths. Consistent and anticipating another big run. CROWN HEART (16) is a six-start maiden who has been in the money twice. Could only manage 11th last time out over 1400m at this track but can feature on his best form.
