Wild Whiz and Samjeong Lady possess good early speed. WILD WHIZ (1) was in a different class last time with a dominant all-the-way win by a wide margin at this track over 1300m. Will prove very tough to beat. SAMJEONG LADY (8) is a promising type who scored at her last run before a break four months ago over 1200m at this track. Fitter for a recent trial here. Has good early speed and is good enough to take them all the way. CHOEGANG SPEED (7) recorded a strong maiden win over 1200m at this track last time, getting there by 1.3 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Looks well placed, and he should be in the finish again. VICTORY QUEEN (6) was unplaced two runs back, then again missed the frame last start over 1300m at this track, finishing seventh. Nicely placed to find some form.
