Without a great deal of early pace evident Wonderstar may lead the way over Everyone's Gallop. LUNAR DASH (5) is on debut for the Mark Newnham stable with Zac Purton in the saddle. The gelding has looked impressive at the trials and Purton has been on board the whole way through. Maps to get his chance from the draw and in this suitable race, he can get the job done. MIRACLE FIGHTER (6) is another debutant, this time from the Ricky Yiu stable. He's turned a corner his past couple of trials, winning two back before placing in in his most recent hit out. Finds a nice race for his debut and can play a major role. WONDERSTAR (3) bounced back to form last start over this course and distance when favourite under James Orman. This looks to shape similarly and while he has drawn wider, he does possess some early speed. Can go one better. WARRIORS DREAM (1) will find this easier than recent efforts and has claims back in grade.
