Cosmo Granite has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. ARITHMETIQUE (18) resumed from a spell last start with a sound second over 2000m at this track, making up many lengths in the run home. In the right race and is a winning hope. COSMO GRANITE (4) is yet to break through after five starts but is not far off a win. Placed two back then missed the frame but was thereabouts last time over 1800m at this track. Should be prominent throughout and it will be no surprise to see him get off the mark. MEINER ARES (8) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 1.5 lengths from the winner in third over 1800m at Niigata. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. BLANC FORTE (17) finished 7 lengths from the winner in fifth last start after being in contention on the corner over 2000m at this track. Likely improver with strong prospects.
