A race that lacks early pressure on paper. ANNIE WARBUCKS (9) has been very good in both runs back this time, storming home strongly late in the race at Pinjarra last time to miss by 1.4L. She now draws an inside barrier up in trip which looks a big key to her chances. She's trending the right way and this looks an ideal race for her to break her maiden. ALABRAE (2) disappointed as favourite at Pinjarra most recently when getting too far back to threaten over the mile. Noske remains in the saddle and if he jumps better this time, I expect him to sit a touch closer than he did last start. Can bounce back to his best now. WOLFMAN (1) has had 12 starts now without a win, but showed last start he's knocking on the door. He beat a few of these rivals last time out in a good display and he won't be far away. PRETEY ROYAL (8) flew home last start and is right on the cusp of a maiden win. Worth keeping safe. DRILLING RIG (4) looks to be building nicely and can be thereabouts. SUGGESTED PLAY: Annie Warbucks can go to another level now.
