Drops back a level today so from the ace draw a bold showing is expected. MANIBHADRA (16) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing second when resuming last time out over 1200m in Listed grade at Nakayama Dirt. Likely to push forward despite the wide draw. In a suitable race and can play a major role. KITANO'S EDGE (10) saluted at the first run back from a spell last start over 1200m at Kyoto Dirt, scoring by 0.8 lengths. Has a liking for this trip and he looms as a significant threat. KUROJISHI JOE (14) is back after a break of nine weeks. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 1200m at Morioka Dirt. Makes plenty of appeal.
