Solid tempo set by Queen Card and Roza. JUZCAR (9) returns from a spell of five-and-a-half months. Was safely held at the only appearance last prep when failed to finish over 2910m at Kyoto. Lining up today for the first time for trainer Sakae Ishikawa. Should be hard to stop. SHINY ROCK (3) has scored at his last two starts, most recently by 1.3 lengths over 1400m at Morioka Dirt. That continued the very strong form this campaign, with three wins from four outings. Can measure up again. ROZA (4) had been going okay but was safely held last start when eighth over 1400m at Morioka Dirt. Deserves another chance. KENJA (7) turned in a nice run last time to finish second over 1600m at Morioka Dirt. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role.
