VARUNA (10) ran a bold race over this journey last start, racing on the pace and sticking on strongly to finish 2.5 lengths away in second at this track. Nicely placed to take this out. ARAUCARIA (8) got the prize two runs ago at this track. Not as effective last time out when eighth over 850m at this track, beaten 11 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. BEE SPIRIT (6) failed to figure again last time over 1000m at Morioka Dirt, beaten 6 lengths into seventh. Looks close to a win and worth including.
