No noted pacemaker engaged, so expect an moderate pace. THE LAST FLASH (10) finished it off okay at Mt Gambier but was much better, narrowly beaten at Strathalbyn prior. Maps for a soft run, and shapes as one of the hardest to beat. BOLOGNA BABY (4) has had two outings for the Barry barn and may be ready to show more. His best efforts under Grahame Begg would make him hard to beat. MOTORING SPIRIT (7) draws well and finds easier. Her Seymour effort three back would have her around the mark. SPOT THE GREY (2) caught the eye late first up and should be able to settle closer from the draw. Has to be kept safe. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing The Last Flash.
