Without a great deal of early pace evident Disco Kicks may lead the way over Aurora Queen. SPANGLEDSTAR (6) got a long way back last start and couldn't really get into the race when below her best at Northam. She's on the quick turnaround this time, but her effort two back at Pinjarra is the formline to take. Draws well with the in-form Brad Parnham now taking the ride. Looks the one to beat. AURORA QUEEN (8) drops back in trip today after a 1.7L defeat over the mile at Pinjarra most recently. She draws out which is a little niggle, but she's a winning chance on recent figures and can shed the maiden tag without surprising. BRINGITHOMEALABAMA (5) is on debut for the Pateman stable today on the back of a winning trial most recently under Dyson. Ticks a few boxes coming into this and he can make an impression on debut in a race that lacks depth. YANKEE ACE (3) was sound fresh and can improve out in trip. DISCO KICKS (7) is better than she showed last start and can bounce back. SUGGESTED PLAY: Spangledstar can get the job done this time.
