Solid tempo likely from Shamrock Bay and Maid On Stryke. SHAMROCK BAY (10) held on well to finish third when first-up from a break last time out over 1000m at Moe after leading for much of the way. Solid run last time and will take catching again. JESSUP (3) showed good early dash and raced on the speed at the first run back from a break last start before fading to finish 3.5 lengths back in fourth over 1210m at Kilmore. Will take some beating. ROCKCLIFF (6) raced on the speed from the outset last start and finished third, beaten 0.7 lengths, over 1200m at Ballarat. Nicely placed to take this out. DANERICH DAN (7) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing seventh at Kilmore over 1210m after he gave away a big start. Well placed and can play a prominent role. SUGGESTED PLAY: Shamrock Bay to win.
