Moderate tempo expected with Tyndrum Gold likely to find the front over Paltinian and Bellakai. KOKORO (3) looks very well placed to claim the feature. Has been racing in city grade, safely held last time at Caulfield but only a couple of lengths away two back at the Valley. Best figures measure right up to this level and will be hard to hold out. TYNDRUM GOLD (2) looks a big danger. Fifth fresh over the border and has won two of four when second-up. Extra trip is a plus and Kelly rides this track well. Drawn to feature. BELLAKAI (5) was safely held in the tougher St Arnaud Cup latest when bombed the start but just missed in the Manangatang Cup two back - a similar level to this. Gets chance to atone. MAKTOOB (1) tackled the Avoca Cup second-up and raced well below best. Fitter again and has performed well when third-up. Drawn for a good run and will wind up late. PALTINIAN (6) led and folded in the Manangatang Cup after winning his maiden the start prior. Can give a sight at odds. Worth noting trainer has only had two runners this course and both won. SUGGESTED PLAY: Kokoro gets chance to find form.
