TORBELO (5) really dug deep to get the prize by 2 lengths three runs back at Nhill over 2100m before being beaten a whisker at his last two starts. Has been mixing trips but expect him to run it out and make the finish. DISCOBAY (9) disappointed at Mornington but his form prior stacks up. May be the one to control the race and Meech will give her every chance. CUBAN DAWN (1) won three back and has threatened the two since. Has claims with average luck from the wide gate.
