Dougal Mckeen and Ze Bee Nine will settle forward and can set a moderate tempo. ZE BEE NINE (4) hasn't been far away lately, last time out finishing just 0.7 lengths back in fourth over 1600m at Moe. Won't find this as tough. Sure to go well, especially from the great draw. MARBASTION (3) settled well back from a wide draw last time then wound up strongly to finish fifth over 1400m at Bendigo, which looks much better form that what a lot of the rivals here have under their belt. DOUGAL MCKEEN (5) is another who has been tested in tougher grade that what he meets here. Drawn to take up a prominent position and the 3kg claim looks helpful. MAGIC DRUM (2) has been well-held at two runs back, but they look a good platform for this, especially getting up in trip from a gun barrier. SUGGESTED PLAY: See Bee Nine each-way.
