Without on-pacers engaged it may turn into a sprint home. It's nearing a year since the most recent of 3 career wins for PULVERISER (1), but looks poised to put his best foot forward here. It's no tougher than recent efforts and the step back up to 2009m looks to be advantageous. Topping things off is the plum draw of one, which gives him the chance to settle closer than his past couple. WYNDINTHEWILLOWS (4) hadn't been in the placings until last start, but now that she has won she might just be ready to go on with it. Has to be better for that outing, which was her first in over two months, as well. SAXON BEAUTY (7) has drawn beautifully and can get back to the form that realised a win two back. RASPUTINA (8) s consistent and draws to be in the firing line again. FIORENTE SPRITZ (12) has a tricky gate to overcome but seems to like this track, as the last start second placing attests. SUGGESTED PLAY: Pulveriser each way.
