POD CROSS (6) will derive great benefit from his second on debut two-and-a-half weeks ago, beaten a neck at the end of 1800m at this track after giving away a big start. Sure to take a lot from that hitout so another big run is anticipated. SOLENNELLEMENT (2) showed good early speed last start on debut and fought on well to hold second, beaten a neck, over 1800m at Nakayama. Will be very hard to beat with that run under the belt. IBUKI (3) made significant late ground last start to get up for second over 2000m at this track. Another bold showing is expected. WILLOW CREEK (1) had support on debut last time out when he boxed on fairly to finish fourth, beaten 5 lengths over 2000m at Nakayama. Likely improver worth including.
