Good tempo anticipated with Miss Wattlebank and Break Out Lucille leading the way. MACHINE MAN (3) was beaten a nose at Penola over 1400m as favourite and will build on that. Has a low gate and he rates the one to beat. VEGAS JACK (6) resumes and his two most recent jumpouts have been good. He's shown enough at the provincials to say he's a chance. NINETEENTH HOLE (10) went close from the pace at Avoca finding more like his best. Came back to the mile, but she's capable of making the finish in this lineup. BREAK OUT LUCILLE (7) has need the two runs back and can show more today. Has placed in a jumpout since last seen and has a couple of key gear additions. Wary of HALEMO (12) on debut. Maps well and has been well-prepared. Elevate if serious money comes. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Machine Man.
