A small field that lacks a pacemaker. ELIZABASS (9) resumes. Didn't make an impact at her only run last prep over 1200m at Doomben. That was her first go following the switch from a Victorian yard. Her back form is strong and she's trialled well. Has a handy gate and the betting will be key. KINGSLAND (1) is a dual acceptor and is a decent chance if he races here. Spiked his figures winning this grade and should enjoy a soft run. Carries more weight, but he should go close. LIMAHULI (2) has been in need of the two runs back. Draws low today and has the blinkers on for the first time. His best form would have him in the finish. LADY ZAYDI (8) is going well enough to consider. Has an inside barrier and 2kg claim, and she was beaten less than 2L at Eagle Farm last time. SUGGESTED PLAY: Elizabass if the betting suggests stable confidence.
