Not much gate speed on show enabling Temple Bells to roll to the front. TEMPLE BELLS (8) is back after a break of four-and-a-half months. At the last run before the layoff she finished sixth over 1812m at Port Macquarie. Tuned up with a fifth in a recent trial at Port Macquarie. Well placed and happy to have her on top. MISS GRAYSEA (7) failed to figure again last time over 1400m at Casino, beaten 7 lengths into fifth. Rates highly on best form and should go a lot better. LYKOS (6) is a six-start maiden who finished sixth at her most recent appearance over 1000m at Taree. Among the chances in what looks a nice race for her.
COLD FUSION (4) has been gelded and changed yards since last seen. The blinkers go on and can measure up. SUGGESTED PLAY: Temple Bells looks well in with the claim.
