GOING: G

BT Daley Painting Contractor Maiden Plate 1000m

Track: GOOD   Clear (Max: 38)   Rail: True.

Only a small field with King Bling likely to find a comfortable lead. KING BLING (3) has been busting to win and forgive the latest in tougher class. Uses the inside gate and is well placed in this lineup. WELL I'LL BE (4) was beaten 1.5 lengths in a 1600m contest at Seymour seven-and-a-half weeks ago. Has switched to the Whittle yard and drops back from a mile. Good enough and it's a question of readiness. DYNASTY REWARD (2) jumped at a short quote first-up but was gathered up late after riding the speed. The former Victorian should appreciate the shorter sprint and has the blinkers on again. Will have derived benefit from that outing and deserves consideration. STANDARD STREET (7) has also switched from Victoria and presents today on debut. Her jumpouts suggest she'll be competitive around these parts. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing King Bling.
