Strong tempo with Mover And Shaker, Chieftain and King Of The Gauls leading the charge. Great race with loads of pressure. AFRICAN PRIDE (13) is an emerging type unbeaten in two runs this time in, both times proving too quick and leading throughout. Toughest test to date but has the light weight and will take running down again. CHARMING CHEETAH (11) is a Grade 1 placed galloper who resumed over 1200m and was beaten just a length. This is short of his best but does have a good record here earlier in career and will be winding up strongly. QUANTUM THEORY (1) was safely held last time in Grade 2 company over 1450m. Freshened for this and back in grade. Goes well here and will be charging late. CHIEFTAIN (5) won two on end last campaign before a break and has won fresh. Excellent record course and distance and among the chances.
