Plenty of first starters engaged which makes it tricky to map, but we can assume a genuine tempo. WISH LIST (4) produced an eye-catching debut effort over this course and distance last start when sent out at long odds. She understandably raced green but the manner in which she finished off her race to finish third of nine was encouraging. She would have come on from the outing and with Richard Fourie in the saddle should take a power of beating. QUEEN REGENT (10) showed good improvement when third over this course and distance last time. JP van der Merwe steps back into the saddle and she rates well as a leading chance. PRECOCIOUS (1) showed signs of needing her comeback run over 1400m. She will strip much fitter and if finding the form of her debut run when finishing second should be competitive. PLAYFUL JOULES (7) has fair recent form lines to her credit. Muzi Yeni retains the ride and in this field, she should be fighting out the finish.
