Can't see them going very hard with a lack of any real speed horses. CALIFORNIA BOMB (7) returned from a break last start and was having his first run on dirt for a new stable when fifth over 1500m at this track. Sure to come on from that run and should be in the finish. CINNAMON BLUE (2) resumed last start with a moderate seventh over 1500m at this track after settling well back. Looks well placed and expect a better run this time. YUGAFU (6) is still a maiden after four runs. Was well in commission last time out but didn't live up to market expectations, finishing fourth over 1500m at this track. Looks to be in the right race to play a big role. PHANTOM PUNCH (8) is a nine-start maiden who finished sixth when resuming from a spell last start over 1400m at this track. Will derive great benefit from that outing and deserves consideration.
