Ortem Legacy to take charge ahead of Ruach at a solid tempo. RAMBLIN' ROSE (6) was up in class at Ellerslie 2 weeks ago, and though she was out of the money, she was just over a length from the winner in seventh. That form will stack up nicely with her drop back into BM65 grade, and she can pick up an overdue win here. GREY AREA (3) needed time to strengthen up as a 3-year-old, and he is resuming from a spell that would have done him the world of good. He was a recent trial, and with the blinkers on, he should go close to winning this. INTERPLANETARY (4) was a beaten favourite fresh up, and then improved quickly to run third at Avondale last time out, finishing less than a length from the winner. He will relish the extra 500m, and he can have the last say this time. THE NEGOTIATOR (5) put it all together when scoring his maiden win at Matamata 15 days ago. This field has more depth to it, but he can still make his presence felt again. Include. RUACH (2) can mix his form, but he usually saves his best for his home track here. Stick with him. SUGGESTED PLAY: Interplanetary each-way value.
