MEINER GENIUS (7) is having his first run since winning by 7 lengths eight weeks ago over 1400m at Himeji. Has transferred to the Masahiro Saito stable over the break. Worth serious consideration. NISHINO COCO (6) finished out of the money when fifth over 1400m at Kasamatsu four weeks ago. Meets a stronger field but she is up to the task. ZEPHYR BAROWS (5) ran below expectations last start, finishing tenth at Saga over 1400m. Finds a nice race and can bounce back.
