Il Americana has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. SIMPLY OUTRAGEOUS (3) peaks off a narrow defeat over 1500m at Geelong when she led. Brought super form to that, and she is well placed back in grade with a 3kg claim. On what we've seen, she should have them covered. REGAL VISIONS (5) comes off a strong first-up Maiden win over 1457m at Kilmore, getting there by 2.25 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Tricky draw to overcome, but she can make the finish with average luck. ELVIS (1) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest coming when placed second over 1600m at Pakenham. Was nudged out at Geelong prior, and he's likely to race handily and give a good sight. LIGHTNING FLASH (4) got the job done over 2400m at Albury and has been kept on the fresh side. Has to switch back to a mile, but she was unluckily beaten at Albury last time it was tried. Keep well onside. SUGGESTED PLAY: Keen on Simply Outrageous.
