Plenty of speed from Shobuun and Yoko My Love. MARUKA VENTO (3) is back from a break of ten weeks. Closed last campaign with a narrow defeat over 1600m at this track. Excellent record here having never missed the placings in six starts, including three wins and three placings. Comes here with definite claims. ADMIRING (2) had been racing well with five consecutive placings before last start managing only fourth over 1600m at this track. Form at this track is solid. Among the leading chances. SUPREME ARROW (4) improved sharply on his sixth two starts back with success over 1580m at this track two-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by 3 lengths. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he is up to the challenge. SHOBUUN (8) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago but couldn't follow that up last time out when third over 1400m at this track. In contention this time.
