SNOBBERY (12) improved again, beaten 1.5L in second place over 2007m at Kilmore, behind Arabian Prince, who was backed off the map. He will hit this at peak fitness and maps for a soft run. He's well set to break through. TE TANIWHA (13) stepped up quickly to this trip, placing distantly at the track. The colt is sure to have come on, and he will position forward from an inside barrier. He can get a lot closer today. SHAW CAN FLY (11) led and didn't handle the heavy track at Pakenham. He'd missed a whisker over 2000m at Ballarat prior, and that stacks right up. Likes to run along, and Coffey will use the inside barrier. A player. PITMAN (10) was unplaced in the Tasmanian Derby (2200m) at monster odds and then had 54 days away before a head defeat over 1860m at Avoca, when expected to win.
