Plenty of pace from Ride The River, Take The Jackpot and Movin' Denman primarily. RIDE THE RIVER (4) ploughed through the heavy going to win two back at Kembla Grange. Couldn't follow that up with a tiring seventh over 1000m at Albury. Placed here last prep and look for a much better effort with the nice weight drop. STRATAFY (5) fifth-up for this and a win looks imminent. Closed strongly from the wide gate with an unlucky second over 1000m at Gosford in BM64 grade. Struggling to draw a good gate this campaign. Each-way. BONDASONG (6) caught the eye second-up at the big odds with a tidy fourth over 1250m at Newcastle. Must be included. HARRY THE THIEF (2) is a talented type who returned from a break last start and made it two wins from as many starts with a fast finishing victory over 1000m at the Sapphire Coast. Won on debut here and looks up to the task. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 4,5,6,2.
