THE DAVID WALSH R75 1600M 1600m Track: SOFT 5 Out 3m |

|
Genuine tempo with Peecee Pussycat and Lady Georgiana up front. THE ENTERTAINER (1) has not had the best of luck in her last 3 starts in far stronger fields than what she meets here. She revels in wet ground, and with the aid of a 3kg claim, she is perfectly placed to return to winning form. PEECEE PUSSYCAT (2) has been up for a long time, and he always tries his best. He could lead from his good draw, and if he gets his own way in front, he will take plenty of pegging back. MR BULLY TEE (3) was beaten but far from disgraced fresh up in a stronger field here 2 weeks ago over 1300m. His record over this trip is much better, and at an easier level, he can be a quick improver. Each-way. COSMETIC VIRTUE (5) raced well in the spring, and she has a good record on this track. She has the pole position, and though she usually takes a run to get ready, she can figure in the top 4 at odds. SPEED DIAL (6) fought on solidly without all the luck in the world here a fortnight ago. Her form prior was very good, and she is another top 4 hope in an even field. SUGGESTED PLAY: The Entertainer should win this.
