Muthabara to take up the running with Silky Seth and Mukatila close at hand. SILKY SETH (5) improved at Ballarat and missed by a head over 1400m at Ballarat following. He will hit this at peak and has the gate speed to cross over and position on-pace. Comes back in grade and will be tough to beat. THE MAILER (7) made good ground beaten only 0.8 lengths over 1412m this track and trip, and will be better for it. The rail may not be ideal, but he has the blinkers on for the first time and won't have to improve much to feature. SOLDIER BOI (6) didn't have the best of it at Geelong over 1530m on debut, but showed enough to consider here fresh. Won a recent Ballarat jumpout, and the winkers are on for the first time. He's likely to race well. JOHN IN ENGLISH (3) is a three-start maiden who returned last time and finished fourth at Kyneton over 1208m, beaten 3.5 lengths. Should progress from that last outing and poses a genuine threat. SUGGESTED PLAY: Silky Seth to win.
