Strong tempo likely with several going forward, headed by Rebake Full City and Saint Honore. NANSEI WHITE (1) has been kept fresh since he resumed last start and proved too strong, scoring by 2 lengths over 1400m at this track. Has never missed the frame second-up and looms as the one to beat again. VICTIPHARUS (16) turned in a fine effort to score by half a length at today's course and distance last time out to build on a solid first-up result. Finds a tougher race but he has the ability to test this field. SAINT HONORE (9) was well in commission last start over 1600m at Funabashi when fourth, beaten 5 lengths. Yet to miss the frame from four starts at today's journey, including two wins and is expected to be competitive. HERO CALL (2) is close to breaking through, last start finishing just half a length away in second over 1800m at this track. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways.
