Strong tempo from Cool Kagura, Will Mischievous and Mana Sky. COOL KAGURA (10) closed last campaign with back-to-back placings, the last of which was at this track five-and-a-half months ago. Has good early toe so she should be handy in the run. Will give a great sight. WILL MISCHIEVOUS (7) was well supported when resuming last time out over 1600m at Ohi and proved too strong, scoring by a head. Open to plenty of improvement and he is a major player again. MORNING AJISAI (8) pushed forward and led throughout to score a one-length win over 1400m at Kasamatsu last time. Has the speed to overcome the draw and is capable of figuring in the finish. MANA SKY (2) improved last start but found a couple better over 1400m at Saga, beaten 2.75 lengths. Looks to be in the right race so another bold effort is on the cards.
