Cracking tempo with Miss Capitale and My Proclama leading the way. FINE WINE (2) sound first-up winner, then never on the track and hung out with a tiring ninth over 1000m at Gosford. Gets the right set-up for this and can bounce back quickly. MISS CAPITALE (4) outclassed in town two-back, then finished a close on-pace second over 1200m at Newcastle. At her peak for this and Morgan sticks from the right gate. Leading contender. MY PROCLAMA (5) strode forward early from her wide draw and was a spent force in the straight to run eighth to Your Chilli over 1300m at Hawkesbury. Fitter now from an awkward gate, place best. SHOUTABOUTIT (8) is locally trained and stays in the mix with the claim. On the quick back-up with a tough on-pace third over 1200m at Gosford. Will be in the firing line again. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 2,4,5,8.
