Only a small field with Mimi's likely to find a comfortable lead. MIMI'S (8) returned from a lengthy break when swamped late to finish fifth over 1100m at Hawkesbury. Expected to have come on with that run under the belt and can overcome the sticky draw. DOLCE VITA (5) kept safe in betting on debut before disappointing with a dismal fifth over 1100m here last October. Looks ready to go with the two sound trials and can figure prominently. CHAMPERE (1) Written Tycoon filly who resumes after showing ability in her two career starts. Sat on the solid tempo with a tough third over 1300m at Randwick Kensington on December 5. Has trialled well on two occasions leading into this. Visors go on and can overcome the sticky draw. ASK DI (4) resumes. Pulled up with cardiac arrhythmia on debut when a tiring eighth over 1000m at Hawkesbury last October. Primed with the two good trials and ready to deliver this time in.
