Not a great deal of pace on paper so it may be left to one of the debutants to roll to the front. Potentially a good little maiden. LET LILY LOOSE (6) was beaten at $1.50 first up at Bendigo but ran credibly after drawing wide and working throughout. The debut placing here behind subsequent Group winner Motorsports reads well and 1400m with a bit more luck in running can see her get the job done. POMAH (7) was disappointing second up when well backed at Sale, racing a bit wide there but largely struggling. The fresh run was very good and she can bounce back. UPSTAGE (8) has just found one better in both runs this time in, beaten a nose at Geelong when last seen. She'll be hard to hold out from a low draw. BELLA VERONA (1) is a filly by Castelvecchio for the Laurie yard who got home well to win a recent jumpout and looks set to measure up. JENNI BAM BAM (4) has also trialled quite well and has claims. SUGGESTED PLAY: Let Lily Loose to win.
