Nefertem, Just Lien and Afro Raidel can set a genuine tempo. MR JOHN (8) is back at the races for the first time since July 18. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 1400m at this track. Strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note. ZEITOKU (9) was a winner over 1200m at this track last time out, dropping out early before coming home with a powerful run to score by a nose. Worth following up. SUZUNO HAMAYA (5) will strip fitter for this after running below expectations first-up at this track, finishing fifth over 1600m after being in the firing line on the bend. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is one of the key runners. VISIBLE LIGHT (6) turned in an eye-catching run over 1200m at this track last time, ridden back before coming home with a powerful run to finish third. Should feature in the finish again.
