Record at this track is strong. Expected to be in the finish. SONGWRITER (4) broke through for his maiden win over 1400m at this track last time, scoring comfortably. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. LADY PEGASUS (6) has been kept fresh since finishing 12th over 1400m at this track four weeks ago. Was a determined winner two runs back and could be hard to beat on her form from two starts ago. COPA KATSU (8) missed the frame last start over 1700m at this track when fifth. Better than recent efforts suggest and worth consideration here.
